Getting Ready For The Weekend!
Well hello out there! How have you all been? Good I hope! Are we loving this weather or what? I am so happy that the rain came through the other night and cooled things down a bit. It hasn't been quite as humid as of late and you wont find me complaining about that either, lol. Hope the weather in your neck of the woods is treating you nicely.
So, the weekend is here and I am looking forward to it. Summer is such a fun time and you never know what or where you will end up on the weekends. For instance, we found ourselves in the Finger Lakes last weekend and we had such a good time! I don't know what this weekend holds yet, but we are getting ready for vacation late next week. I am really looking forward to that. How about you? Have something fun planned for this weekend? Whatever you end up doing, I hope you are happy and have a safe time!
In other exciting news, my niece, Alyssa had a....GIRL!! 7/15. Olivia Grace Montellese. I can not wait to show you all pictures! She is so precious! Thanks for all your well wishes to mother and baby...they are both happy and healthy.
I think that about wraps it up for now. Have a wonderful TGIF and stay safe out there!

Wonderful Testimonial!
I received this wonderful testimonial from a new client of mine and I wanted to share it with you. Thanks so much Anna writing this! I enjoyed our consultation and I am so glad you like the Time Wise series! I look forward to continuing to be your Independent Mary Kay Beauty Consultant!
Are you like me? Stuck in a skincare and makeup rut? I think that happens to a lot of us ladies. We lead busy lives, have jobs and families. We are always looking for something that is fast and easy and sometimes a skin care regime is the last thing we want to think about. This is my life, lol.
Through my busy job, I belong to a business association and I was lucky enough to meet Lynn Purtell Neal there. She is your local, independent Mary Kay Beauty Consultant. I have to tell you that I was extremely skeptical when she first approached me about a consultation. I have been using the same skin care products for years and I don’t like change, lol. Now, as many of you know, I just celebrated a birthday and there have been some changes I have noticed in my skin…you know gravity and all, lol! Anyway, after chatting with her for bit, I decided to go ahead with the consultation.
Lynn stopped by and was very professional and knowledgeable on all Mary Kay products. I received a facial, and a makeup makeover. Lynn made sure to answer my questions before I applied anything and even applied the product behind my ear to test for an allergy. The over all results were fantastic. I loved the way I looked when we were finished and I felt like a new gal. (Photo to follow )
However, still a bit skeptical on the skin care portion of the makeover, (resistant to change) Lynn left me a few samples of their Time Wise series to try for a couple days. When I saw here again this week, I ordered the whole series, lol! The difference in my skin was noticeable and when I wake up in the morning, my skin just feels fresh and clean. I don’t usually do this, but I would recommend this product, especially to gal wanting to make a change. (Or even if you don‘t, lol!) Change is good!
Lynn is a lovely woman and she really takes the time to make sure you are comfortable with the products and pleased with the results. You can contact her here on FB, Lynn Purtell Neal, or you can visit her online store at http://www.marykay.com/lynnneal/
Thank you Lynn for opening my eyes!

Photo of Patches
As many of you know, I had to put my 14 year old cat, Patches down last week. My awesome friend, Patti, helped me get through it. (Thank you Patti).
I was finally able to scan a photo of Patches. In the picture she was closing in on 20lbs and when she passed away, she was down to 8 lbs. I wish I took a picture of her then. She looked like a cute little kitten. It’s been 1 week now. I know she is happier, but I miss her.

Photo's of Sadie
Hello and Happy Friday to everyone out there! Hope the week treated you all all right? Whew...It has been so hot here in the Capital District as of late! Near record temps every day and not much cooler at night. However, I did hear that rain was coming our way, so I am hoping that it will cool things off a bit and not bring us more humidity. Fingers crossed!
Ok, as promised, here are a few photo's of Sadie with Alex. Aren't they cute? I am still working with her and she was an extra special girl this week! I am looking forward to posting more of my adventures with her soon.
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend! Here's to beating the heat and staying cool!

Happy 4th of July Weekend!
Hello and Happy Thursday to everyone! I hope this finds you doing well and enjoying some of the cooler weather that has come to the Capital district! I am super excited that this coming weekend is a holiday weekend. It will be nice to have some time off and spend time unwinding with family! How about you? Got fun plans for this long 4th of July weekend?
I have been working with my 3 year old chocolate lab, Sadie and she is a great dog, but she goes crazy when people come over. She jumps and barks and wants to play. I tried my friend Pat's advice to put coins in a container and shake it to train her to stop jumping/barking. It's going to work...just need lots more practice as she is just so darn wiggly! I haven't had a chance to work with her again though, not many people come over any more...empty nesters...But here's another tip though - Sadie wouldn't come in the house last night, she just stared at me. I did lots of different coaxing with no luck and then I sat on the floor and coaxed her to come in and she did. So it seems she likes it better when I am down on her level, lol. Would love to hear any new tips you all might have for dog training as this will be an ongoing project with Sadie. I will have to get some pictures of her posted soon!
I think that's all for now. Remember, you can shop 24 hours a day with me, your Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultant http://www.marykay.com/lynnneal/default.aspx
